The Battery Connector series represents a paradigm shift in high-voltage DC interconnect reliability for utility-scale and commercial energy storage systems. Engineered for abusive environmental endurance and sub-milliohm contact resistance stability, this connector family bridges battery rack busbars to primary DC buses, PCS inputs, and parallel cabinet expansion links. Designed in accordance with UL 4128 and IEC 62852 draft requirements, the connector delivers IP67 ingress protection both mated and unmated, vibration resistance exceeding 5g RMS, and a lifetime of ≥500 mating cycles without performance degradation.

TIER-1 LFP CELL INTEGRATION

Each Battery Connector interfaces directly with Tier-1 prismatic LFP cell terminal blocks through a patented double-leaf spring contact system. The contact base material is oxygen-free copper (OFC) with 5 µm silver plating, ensuring <0.2 mΩ contact resistance at nominal clamping force. A secondary independent current path via helical spring fingers provides redundancy in high-vibration scenarios (e.g., mobile storage or seismic zones). The housing is molded from V-0 flame-retardant polyamide (PA66 + 30% glass fiber) with UV stabilization for 25-year outdoor service. LIQUID COOLING PIPELINE INTERFACES Optional hybrid power-signal configuration integrates two auxiliary low-voltage pins for BMS temperature sensor routing, enabling real-time connector temperature monitoring. For liquid-cooled racks, the connector incorporates a sealed coolant passthrough port (G1/4 thread) compatible with deionized water + glycol mixtures, maintaining operating temperature rise ≤15 K above ambient at 500 A continuous current. HIGH-VOLTAGE CAPABILITIES - Rated voltage: 1500 V DC (per UL 4128) - Impulse withstand voltage: 8 kV (1.2/50 µs) - Partial discharge extinction voltage: ≥1200 Vrms at <5 pC - Altitude derating: None up to 2000 m; 1% per 100 m from 2000-4000 m PARAMETER REGISTRY All electrical, mechanical, and environmental parameters are verified through 100% production hipot testing (3 kV DC, 60 s) and contact resistance measurement (Kelvin 4-wire method).
